Allegation of Research Misconduct

Jurnal Al-Fatih Global Mulia is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ethical standards in the publication of scholarly articles, particularly in the fields of Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and Islamic banking. Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of research data, citation manipulation, duplicate publication, and other practices that violate academic integrity and publication ethics.

When an allegation of research misconduct is received, the Editor-in-Chief and editorial team will conduct an initial assessment to determine whether the allegation warrants further investigation. The assessment will be conducted objectively, fairly, and confidentially, in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy. If further investigation is required, the authors concerned will be given an opportunity to provide explanations and supporting evidence. The editorial team may consult reviewers, relevant experts, or the authors' affiliated institutions when necessary to establish the facts.

Editorial decisions will be based on the available evidence and the seriousness of the alleged misconduct. If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate actions may include rejection of the manuscript, correction of a published article, publication of an expression of concern, or retraction of an article, as appropriate. Jurnal Al-Fatih Global Mulia will handle allegations responsibly and consistently with its publication ethics policy and applicable recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), with the aim of protecting the integrity of the scholarly record.
